    Fun fact:

    The Romans wrote Latin without spaces, lowercase, or punctuation.

    So if I came from the Holy Roman Empire, I could potentially read "Masters HIT" as "Master Shit".

    They are very similar types of HITs so it is a reasonable question. Not worth "lol"ing at in my opinion. Plenty of requesters have autogranted quals, anyway.

    Affiliate marketing for the company that sells FL Studio (aka "Fruity Loops").
    Huge company, especially since that's the tool most modern producers are making rap beats with.

    They decided they were big enough that they didn't need people spreading the word anymore.

    Basically the same thing as a Turker that suddenly loses his Masters and all his private quals.

    This was a particular style known as scriptio continua and was more common in classic Latin or Greek (as most writing was done by dictation; written pauses were sort of seen as unnecessary and time wasting). Word dividers (such as the "interpunct"), however, are found in the oldest form of Greek and Latin (and even Egyptian writings).

    The practice largely died out when we started giving more weight to dramatic speeches; hence the need for clearly demarcated pauses, etc.
