10/23 - Max Monday

When I was growing up, you had to actually go outside< yes out in the real world if you wanted to play with your friends, now you just sit on your couch playing online games while talking to your friends on a cell phone. And if you wanted to play video games, you went to the local arcades, where get this, you got to play with real-life people in person. At one point we had 4 TV stations and they would stop broadcasting about 2 am every night, so all you had was white noise static to watch, now you can have 3000 channels and some people say they can't find anything to watch...

We did not have MP3 players, if we wanted to take some music to a friends house to listen to, we carried a milk crate with vinyl albums in it, and if we wanted some portable music to play in the car, we had 8 Track tapes and cassettes, where on 8 Track tapes you would be getting into a groove on a song, only to have it stop halfway and you would have to wait for it to go to the next click to finish it...

Honestly, I think people need to take themselves way less seriously most of the time.

 

We have one that is VERY picky about her box. If it's not perfect she won't use it. If the other cat gets in there she won't use it again until the litter is changed. If she goes in there herself and we don't get it cleaned before she tries to go again later in the day, she won't go. Most of the time she will come find one of us then Grinch until we follow her to see what the problem is. If she isn't feeling well then she sometimes finds a corner in the bathroom. At least it's tile and not the carpet.

Gonna have to look that box up and give it a try.

I went to buy Bearnie his cat food in store the other day, it cost more here than it did in GA. . I would die without Chewy/Amazon for pet supplies.

We used a ton of them for moving cause they don't bust easily! That box actually has some padding and a blankie in it, so the cats enjoy using it as a cave.

I think you're taking my tone a bit too seriously yourself, lol. I am also not personally attacking you in any way, as stated. I'm just throwing my opinion out into the wind, for the forum as a whole, and for no real reason in particular. I'm well aware lots of people correct others in jest, and I do the same. Nothing wrong with that. And for the record, if that sort of thing is what you're referring to, then we were never talking about the same thing to begin with.

My first car was a hand me down from my sister. It was a real turd POS 85 mustang and it had a Reba McEntire tape stuck in the deck. Other than size 8 tracks were superior to cassettes. At least you could reasonably easily skip a track.

 

I have a giant tub for a litter box, it works great!
