So far the balance is $61.35, which is way more than I anticipated! Thanks to everyone who's chipped in! Looking at my spreadsheet, $61.35 puts us right around $0.35 for 125 users ($61.25), or $0.30 for 150 users ($63.00). If anyone wants to add to it, the donation information is in the bottom spoiler.

Any extra money I have (like in the case of $0.35/125, I have $0.10) will be sent as a random bonus to a random worker who participated in any of the hits. I'm not keeping any of it.

As a reminder, I've changed how the hits work a bit. It's been dragging on a lot (Monday's hit just finished yesterday), so I changed the hits to put out 125 hits at $0.06, instead of 150 at $0.05. Not a huge change, should work out to the same amount in the end, but this will get it done a little faster (as well as give you all an extra penny. Don't spend it all in one place!).

Another reminder: I only put out hits Monday and Thursday. The hits may extend to other days, but those are the days that matter for quals. If you didn't win Monday and you see a hit Wednesday, you'll still be eligible on Thursday, because that's when the new batch goes out. Likewise, if you win on Thursday and see a hit on Sunday, you still won't be eligible Monday because that's the next batch. Hopefully that makes sense.

Eligibility

I decided to go with the same eligibility scheme. You can only win every other hit. Meaning that if you win, you will be ineligible to accept the next hit, but you will be able to accept the one after that. That's the best way to balance fairness with availability and number of hits.

Structure

I took some people's (unexpected) advice and dropped the pay in favor of having more hits available. There will be 150 hits at $0.05 each, for a total of $10.50 per hit, and $94.50 for the month excluding halloween. Halloween will be its own hit. I'd like to release 150 of those as well, with pay determined by how much I have left over and in the donation pot. Right now it's looking like it'll be around $0.17 each, though that may go up if additional people donate and/or if I get any more money to throw into it. For reference, $0.10/hit is $21, $0.25/hit is $52.50, and $0.50/hit is $105. Right now I have around $40, so if you want to increase the pot for everyone, look below for the URL.

Frequency

I'm going to be posting on Monday and Thursday, within the 12:00PM EST hour. People seemed to be the most active this time, and that was the two times I got most reported as "available" without complaints on my survey. This was the only "surprise" hit, hopefully it was still fun!
