10/24 - Tubular Tuesday!

I need to use all of my Turk earnings to buy a PC that can have more than 5 tabs open at once if I want to make over $50, I think.

 

I have three windows in one profile on chrome,separate ones for hitfinderbeta, pc www, pc worker, and th in another. so would it be okay to put ow in another separate window, but in the same profile. or would it be better if thub was separate in firefox for example.

 

I used my turk monies to get a new laptop and an ultrawide to go with it the next month, A+ decision. That being said, plenty of folks on the forum use old laptops and chromesbooks and make bank!

 

Just keep watching the forum. See what people are posting and add things to your OW. I know for me at first it was intimidating. I asked questions when I really needed to, but I really learned the most by reading the posts. Some days you'll make a lot and others not so much. It can be frustrating but you can't let it discourage you or burn you out. Sometimes setting goals is a great motivator, but when the work isn't there you can't stress too much about it. My goal is $50 but I don't beat myself up if I don't make it. I just try again tomorrow. There is a settling in period with turking. The first few months can be really overwhelming but around 3 months it starts to feel more familiar and you'll get a grasp on good hits and ones to avoid.

 

My daily is $10 with 100 racy sergeys, so I am always happy!

 

Anyone seen Noah lately? I missed that guy's New York hits (when they were working, that is.)

 

Not saying that would hurt, but my 7-year old laptop was always perfectly fine for Turking, including this year when I had to use it while my new one was getting serviced. Have you considered just adding memory in the meantime? It's likely what you need most to handle more tabs and is pretty cheap if you just install it yourself.

So panda is the key to success pretty much? I seem to be doing better with pandas in my opinion, im learning thank you all for your advice and kind words. Ill agree seeing your high numbers made me feel like i was doing something wrong but i am new so i get it.

Here's my very first requester breakdown I posted



I started at the very end of april. 10-20 was par for the course. Don't stress, it'll go up more as you qual more, learn some tricks, etc etc. And I have a full time job, and I am going to school part time (right now I'm ignoring lecture to post this!). I could certainly make much, much, much more if I could focus 100% on this... so what I'm saying is, ganbatte, the riches are roughly ~5 months away
