I'm not sure if you have already planned this but about a week or so before www gets removed you should put a banner up telling everyone that they need to backup their fucking scripts and explain how to do so.

As a result, we'll have to make tough calls from time to time when we notice unusual account activity resulting from a particular script or automation tool. Please remember that you are responsible for any script or automation tool that you use with MTurk, and your use of a script or automation tool is at your own risk."

Have you all been using panda crazy, hit finder, and overwatch all at the same time? Is it okay under this policy? This was discussed on MTC but I don't follow that forum and did not see anyone mention that they use all of these tools.

One of the admins over at MTC directly talked to a guy at mturk and basically as long as you aren't doing some serious fuckery that you likely wouldn't even think of if you have to ask this you will be okay.

They haven't changed the rules and they already banned people for the reason that the text was updated. So basically nothing changed other than it is a lot cleaner for them to say why a dickhead is banned if they have to.

btw @LLL adding the rekog group ID to OW and blocking it seemed to do the trick.

 

I rely far too heavily on other people's scripts. I'm going to have a rough couple of days while people rewrite stuff. Hopefully, most will take the time since to do it now since it's been announced.

 

Almost everything that matters already works on worker. Like I said my workflow isn't going to really change.

 

oh and holy crap, I'm leaving in 2.5 hours - and I'm still not fully packed!!!

how long is that $4 hit? I caught it and want to see if I can sneak it in, since I haven't worked since wednesday and I won't be working until a week from sunday....

Wait, you're supposed to answer the question before you accept the hit? How is that even possible? Do they not know how mturk works?

I'm actually not sure. Didn't realize the change was coming, I've been packing/preparing for 2 days now. I just don't like change. I liked HC beta, and I doubt that will get changed over. I'm already using OW & PC in worker, I just need to change OW to panda accept the popups on worker (not sure how but I can probably figure that out). I guess I'm just worried about getting screwed with PREs now...

 

My rate raciness of video sergeys haven't worked in a couple of days, no video pics. Anyone else seeing this or do I need to fix something?

Kad isn't ded anymore and it sounds like he has whatever his juju that he lost back for making scripts.

As for the OW stuff you will need to ask Eth about that but you have plenty of time to figure it out.

Now PREs.. well we might get 'screwed' but we all should be in the same boat. Previously people used to be able to search ect while logged out on www giving them the edge but you can't do that on worker.

You mean the script? I accepted one of their hits today without any issues.

Do you get an error when you accept on of their hits? What is the error?
