well now I'mm blocked from the sergey batch because I returned it.

 

It is only a 15min lockout so you will be fine

 

that's larget batch of typing rekogs.....they don't suck that bad....

What is your hourly on those rekogs anyways? I can't possibly imagine that it is worth it. You are likely better off doing anything else besides that imo

Unless he is super casual with mturk I can't imagine how he would have not done more even just in surveys.

 

I've got 15 pending and 397 that have approved with no problems.

Hourly is shit, but when there's nothing else to do, I like typing. I started mTurk doing and enjoying 411 receipt transcriptions. It's my idea of a nice mindless batch. Yes, I only make around $3.50 an hour, but I don't see anything else up right now.

 

Perhaps I'm crazy but at $4/hr you are better off spending that time taking care of yourself. Perhaps watch a TV show or try to learn a new skill... but $4/hr is slave labor and those hits getting done just encourages more requesters to pay at similar rates.

 

to that point, I've never learned how to scrap for hits myself. I have to rely pretty heavily on what gets posted here and who I've deemed good enough to go on OW. I don't have the skills/patience to figure out scrapping. Things jump around too fast on HF and I have no idea what I'm doing.

 

...you sound like my therapist lol. I have trouble taking "me time" if I haven't hit goal for the day. I grew up poor, so some money is better than no money, regardless of how hard I had to work to get it. We're not poor any more, it's just a very hard habit to break.

 

I'm sure when @Hummingbirdee wakes up she will confirm this concept. I know I agreed with her with the pretzel freak out at the store a few weeks ago. (What do you mean you want something that isn't on sale? Are you insane???)

 

I only did surveys for the first 7 months on mturk and I was up to 4500. That makes 61,000+n in 8 years
