10/28 - Spotting Saturday!

Thanks definitely going to try this. My leg was literally cramped up for 3 days straight last week and when it finally eased up it was tender to touch for another 4 days it had cramped up that bad. Pain was so bad I almost went to the ER till I had a rational moment and realized there was most likely nothing they could do about it. Don't know if this will help cause my leg is really messed up but any relief will be a God send.

I see @Hummingbirdee said magnesium helps with migraines will suggest that to my daughter since she gets them frequently.

Oh absolutely. I don't even attempt the grocery list on the phone, I've never known it to work out well. Grocery list is on the fridge, I add to it whenever I remember or run out of something in the kitchen, and grab it when I go to the store and cross it off while I walk through the aisles throwing shit in the cart.

 

I'll +1 the bird's recommendation. Magnesium is one of my favorite things ever. Turmeric helps with my migraines too, but magnesium is my go to. Awesome for period cramps too.

 

Piggybacking off what I was saying earlier, I actually try to live a simple life. Buy only what I need, and even then try to buy used or something at a great discount. For instance, most of the electronics in my home are pretty old by technology standards, but still do what they need to do and probably will for the foreseeable future.

But then for some reason, I've turned my Reddit feed into a mini Pinterest. So between Reddit, actual Pinterest, and my sick obsession with checking SlickDeals everyday, I feel like I need to go build a house and all of the furniture and decorations by hand, then buy all of the newest a/v equipment for my imaginary home theater room.

 

Our timetable is buying land and building in 5 years, so Pinterest kills me with everything I suddenly need to do RIGHT NOW for my house.

 

I've been using pure magnesium oil. Seems to help with a number of things, migraines included. Definitely worth mentioning to your daughter if she's having trouble managing them.

 

Weird question, but hey, it's a slow Saturday. Anyone have any experience with buying or using adult tricycles? Recumbent okay, but it's a little lower to the ground than I'm probably looking for. (It's for my about-to-be 12 year old son who is disabled, but is ADORING the bike at OT at the hospital)
