I'm honestly not too impressed with Charlotte. I liked Greenville from the times I'd visit him there, but maybe that's just because he knew the area.

I've never been but my sister got married about an hour north of Asheville. The mountains are so pretty, it'll probably be our vacation this year.

Greenville is getting cooler every year and it's such a pretty place. When I started college the West End was sketch as hell and now it's trendy haha. Fiance couldn't convince me to stay down here easily but my love of Clemson/Greenville was his selling point. That and bribes in the form of houses/eternal commitment/kitchen appliances/etc.

Speaking of eternal commitment, we have to set up a new life insurance policy/will so if he dies in a freak fiery plane crash I'll be owner of the farm and such...talk about morbid! I mean, good to be taken care of and all that but morbid shit.

I didn't need to be convinced to move out of Florida, but the cold weather up here is killer. >.<

 

Charlotte is awesome, I lived in Greenville and it was nice, but no Charlotte. but I'll take the south over any other place in the US any day. I have also ,lived in Alabama, Virginia, Florida and Georgia so straight up southern boy...

Giving Matt shit about being a wuss in the cold is a joy of mine. He says it's my damn yankee blood, I say he's just a wimp.

I'm super not a fan of Charlotte, especially compared to other parts of the state but I won't begrudge someone love for their hometown!

 

My thermostat is set to 64 in the winter. It is a delight.
