Yeah, if you look at the donations, as a couple our name seems to be top of that. BUT let me clarify that; I do not donate as much as you guys. CT can verify that. Only a few times a year, "we" make donations, not just to this forum but to too many others.

While doing that, I chose a way trying to be funny, but it seems I look like bragging. I am really sorry about that.

The other reason (besides trying to be funny) is that to encourage others to pay back to the community they are in although they do NOT HAVE TO.

I am sorry about all this, I am closing the survey and let the donations in small amounts so no one even realize I was here.

I submitted this a little early to jump on the tiny CI batch, but to add on to this, another thing I don't think people realize is that recruiting agencies typically have exclusive access to some of the best jobs in your areas. It's actually RIDICULOUSLY expensive to advertise jobs on the various boards (Monster, Indeed, etc) so the only companies doing that are your national companies and big names in your area --- like, Nationwide and Cleveland Clinic are common ones in my area. Mom and pop and local businesses simply CANNOT afford to make postings on these sites, on top of having their staff go through the really tedious hiring process. If you are not going through an agency, your best bet is to honestly look on Craigslist for the best jobs because small companies can afford these, it's like $30 to post on Craigslist. I think in comparison my staffing agency was paying upwards of $20k a month for our other job board accounts if not more.

It's soooo much cheaper to pay an agency a head hunter's fee than it is to post your own jobs, unless you are a large name company with a budget to do so.

edit: by exclusive access, I mean that as agencies we'd typically have "non-compete" type contracts with companies that if they hired us to fill a position, they weren't allowed to advertise it anywhere else to avoid us wasting our time. So only we had the ability to place you in that job, you literally couldn't get it by directly applying to the company even if you were 1000000x better and more qualified than the people we were submitting to them.
