Free advice: Don't make a habit out of that. Unless it's some regular batch that drops around a certain time every day or week, I wouldn't recommend canceling real life stuff for a HIT, think you'll be disappointed more often than not. Something else will pop up later than the day or the next day to make up for the amount you missed. Don't become a slave to MTurk, keep your regular schedule in tact when possible.
