Should tow be home or to dealership?

Home. Most dealerships around here have alarms that go off if you are on the lot after hours

 

Will have to tow to dealership in the morning and hope they can do it before she goes to work

 

Agreed. Ideally you'd be able to drop it at the dealership since it sounds like it has to be fixed there, but safest option is taking it home. You know the expected cost of worst case scenario at home (towing it to dealership) - the unknown worst case leaving it in an empty lot overnight where it isn't expected/belong without notice is astronomically higher.

Sucks either way. If the original tow distance is low you might be able to finagle GEICO into helping twice, I have no experience w/ that though.

 

If they can't get to it, sometimes a courtesy vehicle is offered, like an in house rental

 

Have you seen tonight's znation? A little strange but also so sad. If you haven't seen it avoid social media sites. The ending was on twitter..

 

You may have time to look for other services you have that will cover that tow at least as well. Like @dan mentioned (I think it was dan) - lots of random things cover it nowadays.

 

Ugh, no. I watched the first episode and half the second of this season. Streaming sites have been slacking on quality uploads

Sorry guys, I know its not the place for it but USUALLY this place can give advice and help calm my anxiety at moments like this

 

Was planning to have battery checked out Monday anyway... hopefully that's all it is. Really can't even afford the $400 it will prob cost to do that at the dealership

She can also call the non-emergency line and a state trooper will come sit w/ her if she feels unsafe for any reason. A car disabled on the side of the interstate is a valid reason to call a trooper for lights (a flare) at least. Though, realistically, he'll probably show up around the same time as the tow depending on the area.
