11/07 - Thank You TH Tuesday

I dated a Canadian for awhile and still say 'eh' because it's hilarious.. but now I also crave poutine and Tim Hortons all the time.

 

Would I be classified as a full time or a part time for MTURK? I work ~19-20 hours a week on campus and MTURK the entire time on top of that plus about 20-30 hours per work at home

I am interested in one day building a desktop. For now though, I need the portability of a laptop, as we travel about ~12 a month to visit family and I tend to try to work while I'm there. But that's a super useful wishlist, I'll be sure to save that.

 

mTurk is self employed income, you're not classified as anything for most purposes. If its for a survey you'd answer part-time employment and self-employed (if its a checkbox list, if not pick one of the two)

 

Certainly. We're getting super-useful data and responses from this, so we're definitely keeping it around.

We've also begun to get our processes for scoring and grading a bit more streamlined so we can get results posted faster so you all can see them--and also so we can pay bonuses faster.

lol I'm not making any promises about my data being any better. I'm currently sitting in 11th out of 12th place in our FH league and my husband is thoroughly kicking my but this week.

But at least I'm no longer in last place! Sorry @Buzby but my personal goal is to just be better than you since you had yahoo do your picks for you lol. You're the "machine" I'm trying to beat.

I always literally max out the bonuses on those.

I kick myself in the rare case I miss a single one.

It's basically the one and only HIT group on mTurk where my expensive audio hardware and my background in mixing music professionally actually helps me.

Aside from that, those years I spent are totally useless in terms of mTurk.
