    We had one of those in the basement, but never used it. We had a standard land line phone until I was like 18.

    The day I could sneak off with the new cordless and ease drop on my sister talking to boys was the best. She had one of those clear phones we found so fashionable in the 90s with the long twiddly wire she would drag all over the house.

    We had nothing but rotary phones until we moved when I was 19. I was stoked when we finally had buttons--wait all I have to do is press buttons now? Heck yeah!
