For a lot of the HITs that are exported and shared here (mostly surveys), IMO, it's better to accept it and then have to return it than it is to try to figure out whether you want to do it first and then find that it's no longer there when you decide that you want to accept it.

Returns are basically free, so there's no real harm in accepting things without knowing whether or not you want to do them.

    Topic Name Sanitary napkin
Topic Description A sanitary napkin, sanitary towel, sanitary pad, menstrual pad, or pad is an absorbent item worn by a woman while menstruating, recovering from vaginal surgery, for lochia, after an abortion, or in any other situation where it is necessary to absorb a flow of blood from the vagina. These pads are not to be confused with generally higher absorbency incontinence pads, which are worn by men or women who have urinary incontinence problems or experience stress incontinence. Menstrual pads may be used to stop the flow

Yes, I expected it to take me either to the forum or to a preview of the HIT (which I guess would probably be more helpful than going to the forum). Sometimes surveys have requirements that they don't filter for and that I don't want to accept, or for whatever other reason I want to read the full description and see what a HIT looks like before accepting it. I know they go fast, so it makes sense to just have it as a PANDA. It would be nice to have the option to go to the forum or the preview instead, but I understand if that's not possible. Thank you very much for the answer, at least now I know what's happening.

Doesn't a high return rate hurt your chances of qualifying for some HITs though? At least that's what I thought? Mine is at 93% currently and I really didn't want it to go down any further since it's hard to bring it back up. That was really my only problem with the auto-accept.

I think you're confusing returns with rejections.

It's true that Submission Rate and Abandonment Rate can be used as qualifications, but in my 2.5 years I can say it's exceedingly rare for either of them to be implemented. The only reqs I can recall using either are ProductRNR and old-school Chris Callison-Burch.

Hmmm, that does sound familiar... HIT DB didn't show any results for me though.
For those 3 rarely-used quals, I could only find Prnr exports on TH with Google site searches. Except for this one weird usage of submission rate:
    https://turkerhub.com/posts/14544/
HIT submission rate (%) is greater than 1

Whew... setting the bar pretty high there. :emoji_joy_cat:
