i dont mind ebay refurbs but rebates are a joke

 

yeah rebates are annoying. I'll fill them out but I don't ever consider that as part of the sale price. It is just a bonus on top at best.

Yeah, I get it, used crap on eBay is cheaper than buying brand new.
But if I've decided I want the peace of mind of brand-new, then all of that is just noise.
And I think everyone understands "used is cheaper".

 

From now on, everyday, while opening the new thread, I will open a daily sub thread where @Randomacts and , guy can talk freely to decide who is more right or less wrong.

If you don't know any particular reason off the top of your head then why go through the hassle of responding? I've already posted about this and that on reddit in the past. Just wanted to see what the consensus was here before I pull the trigger on anything. If it's just fanboyism of one particular brand over another then I can count that out pretty quickly but perhaps that mobo blew up in someone's face and on their crotch and now they can't have kids because they're sterile. That would be something nice to know because my SOs mom is pretty set on us squirting out a wiggly bag of flesh and brains.
