I looked looked at the weather and it confirmed what I thought.... Here in Sac the wind speed is ~31mph right now.

Yeah we are having unusually calm weather here in Northern NY, i am hoping we don't pay for it in February

 

Those winds out west are brutal. When I lived in Colorado, a gust tore off my screen door when I ran out to save one of my plants from the wind. Glad to have my 8mph winds down here in sunny SoFla lol

 

I'm not worried about anything ... unless the power or internet go out.. (They did go out a few days ago over in the next city over because of the wind though) I should be fine..

Even if the place somehow got damaged I'm renting so it would just get fixed

 

Been gone all week - how's it been, everyone?

 

First week that I've felt like mturk was alive again since late December imho. You will see how we did when we get our weekly emails in about an hour or so.

 

I really wish I'd been on it this week because it seems like it's been a great week.

 

I had a feeling it might be like that. Spent 8 hours a day in the orchestra - felt very nice to not be on my computer. Maybe we'll get some Z's today.

 

me too- been busy and also working somewhere else - but every time I come to the forum there have been a run of great hits and then when I am here it has been dead.

 

It was a good week. I was on but not as productive as I could have been because of my stupid head cold

Anybody know a good slow cooker recipe for turkey soup? My son who has never been a soup eater is suddenly really into turkey soup
