Not terrible, considering I've haven't really done much besides Zoltar. The last few days have gotten me reinvigorated about mturk, though. I was making decent money on here a year or so ago but kind of got away from it. Think I'm gonna start getting more serious about hitting my daily goals with a modest $20 for now.

 

In general, not really. Most recording HITs on mTurk revolve around training AI to recognize human speech (though not all). I don't think I've ever seen a HIT for actual vocal work that'd end up public, though I suppose the possibility exists if you setup your account properly it'd be pretty hard for it to ever be traced back to you as a person.

If you're concerned with the HIT continuing to access your mic/webcam you can revoke access after finishing up the HIT.

"Attacking members" is really the key part. If someone cracks a joke about lying on demographics to do a survey there's no need for 30 people to go "OMFG YOU'RE SCUM DONT LIE MTRUCK WILL KNOW" instead of a "Hey I know you're probably making the same tired joke we've all done 30,000 times a funny but for anyone unaware that's no bueno." If, like me, someone can't leave off that strikethrough portion its best to just ignore it and move on with the day lol.

FWIW, lots of people don't bother reading rules & shit on online forums (who has time for that?). Linking to something in a friendly/polite manner is perfectly fine, but probably wont make anyone particularly popular. Harping on it for 3 pages is a waste of everyone's time/energy. Its not a completely distinct line, because social and work interactions between a large range of people with nothing but text/emojis is really pretty complex, which is why one mistake wont cost anything but a meaningless warning point. Alternatively, the report button works, as does DM'ing staff, or tagging them in a post.

But there are always people who can't seem to learn/take the hint.

Is there a way to use PC to catch something like the current form of Rek hits? I guess not, wouldn't they all have different GID's?

You can set PC to search and it will find hits based on requesterID. I've set one up but I have not had any more come across OW or PC yet. So I cannot judge if it actually works.

 

There must not be many I have only caught 7 .10's IDK about other ones I just do those
