Well, I might be a little slow, I decided to stay at work so I haven't been to sleep for about 27 hours.

Oh, DRAT DRAT DRATTITY DRAT DRAT.

Back in the office after Thanksgiving, and I can't submit HITs on my laptop! Looks like something changed and I keep getting a long-winded message which says garbage to the effect of "there was a problem submitting your HIT, try refreshing, contact requester, blah blah stupid blah".

It works okay on my phone, but not on my laptop in Chrome or Microsoft IE, so I'm guessing our super draconian firewall rules just got a touch more draconian. Cleared cookies, restarted, etc. No dice. I can perform the HITs, just can't submit them.

    Well, nuts.

This weekend was rather benign, shopping-wise (which is what I like). Ended up getting a TV, because I had a hunch the store near me would have too many "Black Friday models" and would have to put some of the older models on clearance. Fifty for a 32" isn't the worst thing in the world, even though it's the floor model of a crap brand (that was in good shape and was hardly ever on while on the floor). I also bought some other things I can't afford, but they're actually useful and the people I'm giving them to will really like them so I'll take the L for now.

Oh wow, $50 for a 32" is really good! That's the size I use for my computer monitor, I want another one that size for my bedroom.

I would think you can have your laptop and they have wifi. That's what I ended up doing for the day. The chairs are miserable though.

I'm dropping $400 into a recording chain to record a series of lessons that are 80% likely to not earn me back what I'm paying into for the opportunity to record with clean audio:

    https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1AZRN7JH9PAHZ?&sort=default

(It's not ~$550 because out of all my old audio gear, I actually kept the compressor/gate combo on the list)

Holy moly that's a lot. I think the most expensive thing i've ever bought myself was my PC, and that was $800. And that was painful to spend that much on one thing :emoji_joy:. Also your lists are SO organized and adult-y!! I have a mess of like 10 different lists that are like "Wishlist!, Cissnei (my daughter), House, etc. etc." and they're just chock full of a bunch of random crap. Seriously my wishlist is like hundreds and hundreds of items and a good fraction of them are pop vinyls :emoji_sweat_smile:
