I'm not sure I watched much of Bonkers. I have only fleeting memories.

But after I wrote the description I suddenly realized Who Framed Roger Rabbit is pretty damn close and it's surprising we didn't get more of that type of movie/show.

I mainly watched Bonkers for Miranda Wright.


But for darker Disney stuff you couldn't really beat Gargoyles.

 

He did say dark and political/crime-oriented.

I think the closest they got to that on TV was Gargoyles. On the movie side Zootopia is a cop drama too.

 

Definitely lots of porn in those pins.
