Hi all. Is there only one madlabs panda?

 

4 or 5, but only 2 been used lately

 

I used my Macbook for 8 years with no problems and left it on all the time. I bought a PC just for Turking and have had to reboot it at least once every other day for updates and have already had issues with win10. I finally installed an SSD in it and that made it a lil more bearable but i am eyeing a new Macbook Pro for Christmas (I really don't like that strip thing)

Yeah, mine's over 5 years old and I unintentionally treat it like garbage - I leave it on all day, it gets lugged around in a not-so-padded bag 2-3x a day. It's fallen over/out in my car more times than I can count. My cat knocked it off the kitchen counter once. There's no reason it should be working anymore, but it does without complaint. I'm also eyeballing a new MBP (but I do kinda like the strip thing). Best Buy has some great deals if you're a member or have their cc or something, and 18 months free financing is pretty tempting. I have to get things in order for Christmas and bills paid before I pull the trigger, but my finger's twitching on it.

It's late 2016 but all the specs are pretty much identical to the 2017s. Only difference I could find was it has Skylake vs Kaby Lake.
