I see what you mean though, I've only ever seen it through my POV and I'm the kind of person who does put extra time into it w/ the whole monthly progress bar thing so luckily it works out for the most part

Also, on the other end, with paying for it monthly I often feel pressured to use the crap out of it to "get my $s worth" so to speak. Install WakaTime, freak out if I'm paying more than 1c/hour for JB's crap every month

I just hate stuff like old Photoshop where it was exorbitantly expensive to get in. Barrier of entry too high for my blood and we all know what folks turned to in those instances ^_^.
