I left home before I was 18, travelled and lived across the country including Vegas and Wisconsin (a very stark contrast to cali), have performed in classical piano recitals in hk, worked for tech startups, government agencies (all from a resume of mturk work experience!), and i just qut my job to do fun stuff like be active on mturk/youtube, s i'd say i'm pretty wise for my age

I would say it means that you have embraced the opportunities in life...but without knowing what the experiences have taught you, it is hard to say whether or not you are wise. (and you very well could be.)

I'd go into details but it would bore the shit out of readers of this thread, but i learned a shit ton obviously

edit: but the latest nugget of wisdom i can impart to you is, there comes a point when your time is more valuable than money in many circumstances (when I made this realization is when i quit my fulltime job that paid me $18/h) . for example if it would take you 30min to deal with customer service to get some issue resolved (but requires 100% of your attention), and there's an MTurk batch up, if you calculate that you'd earn $45 in that 30min for example, you pay someone to handle the support task for you (<$5). So time is the ultimate commodity we need to be stingy with, NOT money. can you think of all the times where you haggle over a price, or negotiate via a long email thread, when you would've saved time just buying it outright and paying someone to develop it? Same principle, if everyone guarded their time more greedily than their money, a lot more gets done and it's more optimal than being stingy with money

re-edit: and in this example, you can actually pay up to $35/30min for the support task and still make $10, the idea is when something demands your time that seems like the obvious route to save money, you still have to calculate the opportunity cost to determine whether the savings are absolutely optimal, and most people's mistake is not valuing time higher than money when called for

So, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I'm sure I'll have a bunch of leftovers...which is a good thing. Bad thing is, the gf had a chinese food banquet thing at her work for a team of 20 people and she brought home 1/2 of the leftovers. I've got about 10 lbs of veggie lo mein, 5 lbs of kung pao chicken, and 5 lbs of steamed rice in my fridge. I guess it's time to bulk up for the winter.

You could always try freezing it. Reheating it won't be quite as good as fresh, though you can always season it up, and you could always just use it to cook something else too.

My freezer is pretty small. I don't think it will all fit. I'm just going to have to bite the eggroll and eat all this fooood!....or see if the downstairs neighbors want some.
