I've learned a lot from both. Fixing things that bug me is my unappreciated (because programmers tie their egos up with their code) way of giving back.

I'm in a weird position of being very experienced with programming in general, but fairly new to modern Javascript. I think @Kadauchi has like 2 years or something on me in Javascript, but you can tell from his early scripts that this was his first real programming language. I've been writing code for years and years, but most of it in C++ and Java.

 

That's just like my dad. Until he bought a keurig and he was so impressed he wouldn't stop talking about it. Want to get really hard core back in 01 deployed at Kandahar we would get the Folgers coffee packets and some hot water, down the coffee grounds and swish it around with some hot water.

I appreciate learning stuff from the way you do things FWIW. I've even incorporated it when/where I could (maybe not correctly, but for that instance see below).

 

I'm also a little salty that @Kadauchi implemented async/await into a publicly-available script before I did, so now I need to look for an excuse to do the same.

My progress in any domain is accelerated greatly when I have a rival to compare against, so ultimately I guess it's a good thing that he's not buddy-buddy with me.
