    It's good that she doesn't seem to mind being alone. That makes for a smoother transition into adult life, when either you move away from all of your friends, or they move away from you, some of them die in accidents or from serious diseases, everyone gets too wrapped up in work to get the crew together for a social life, etc. Western society in particular has social circles that are so finely segmented by activity, and it's rare to find adults who have lasting friendships with people that cross these boundaries.

    OTOH, at least the Internet is doing a decent job of being the glue to hold people together, so it's not all that bad.

    Pros: It felt really weird submitting a $24 hit this fast but honestly there's not a ton to do. You research three topics and then provide probabilities for each, and they don't give you much guidance as to what to write/how much to write/etc. I made sure to give each of the three questions a decent amount of research, but when it's a yes/no question etc. there are only so many options.

    My friends are all so far away and its impossible to make friends in Alabama because 1) I'm not like them, and 2) Everybody already has all their friends and family here. It's particularly difficult in an environment where there isn't an influx of transplants. When I moved to New Orleans it was fairly easy to meet new people. Here...not so much.
