I was thinking about taxes from a standpoint of turking being your primary source of income. This year, I'm just going to report my mturk earnings, and take the hit from my overall return. However, next year, If I were to turk as a primary source of income, I am just thinking about how to save for the taxes I will have to pay.

Back when I was a responsible, productive, and self employed member of society, I always figured 15% of my net was close, and 20% was safer.

 

Would be nice if there was an option to withdraw and have taxes deducted automatically (like most jobs). It would have to be a weekly withdrawal or bi-weekly, but if there was an option and set of standards for it, I would be down.

Yeah, I think my avg deduction is between 15-20, depending on the hours worked. I figured I'd save 18% and consider it being a good boy, and most likely saving some money up.

 

Most people would think that being 21 points up going into halftime was the best ever, I’m just waiting for chaos.
