I know someone who signed up this week, and they can still access www too (and bless her heart, when I said something about it, she was like, oh, you mean the weird plain old fashioned site? Yeah, then worker site is much sleeker and easier to deal with. I wanted to cry.) But supposedly we're all supposed to bow down to worker on Dec 15.

 

I don't care about the interface itself as I rarely see it... I just want to keep my extra pool of page requests.

 

Worker is superior in every facet. Except the parts that still redirect to www.

 

Still loads CIs slower.

 

www is better at showing the AA of hits.

 

This says more about your poor understanding of the platform than it does about worker.

 

I think it's bs to punish Wisconsin that harshly for a narrow loss, and their only loss of the season. It's total fuckery to punish Wisky more for a small margin loss against a stellar team than they did with Bama. And I think there is a very fair argument that BOTH Georgia and Auburn are better than Bama, and it's bs to leapfrog Bama over Auburn as far as a ranking goes. Bama should schedule harder seasons if they want to get the benefit of a doubt with rankings.

I still think they should have just put UCF in as #4 and pissed off some folks. Sure, they would likely lose so so badly, but an undefeated season is hard to come by, and fuck it. Also, why don't we have an 8 team playoff? That would legit make more sense. Top 5 is the 5 conference champs, add in 3 teams who are essentially wild cards, let the havoc happen.

 

No it demonstrably loads them slower.

Unless there's some super-secret magic IRC-Club way of loading HITs that never crosses the blood/brain Illuminati barrier.

 

If worker is loading slower you are prob hitting a different bottleneck then most of hit.

 

I can exceed the PRE pool of WWW just with my CI submission rate alone (and often do, as I show in my videos, that's when I glance at the forums for a few moments). No Panda Crazy pings. No Overwatch. No checking my queue. Just CIs, and all good judgments.

I don't mind that Worker is a bit slower, because I still do em pretty damn fast and not hitting PREs makes a better wage for the overall chain (since I'm not guessing when the right time is to jump into the batch, or getting sucked into a forum reply while they're up).

But on all 3 of my computers (2 desktops and a laptop), Worker is objectively and measurably slower-loading.

 

I can assure you none of the IRC clubs share anything with me. Most of them dislike me because I run a forum that is in direct conflict with the secretive nature of IRC / private groups.

Also I was just taking the piss at you (...I may be using the term incorrectly here, not British by nature just always thought it was a funny way of saying things). Anytime I attach a to a post you can assume I'm in full RA say-something-that-is-opinion-as-if-it-was-fact mode. I haven't bench-marked either site since the first month worker got released tbh.
