fuck wireless printing. It is so flakey. You can however plug in an ethernet cable if you have your home networked.

oh and laser printers have a peak of around 1000w when they start up and that is why I suggested not having anything else on the same outlet lol. I think the normal use is closer to 300-500 or something but @Totally Not , prob has a better idea of what the real numbers are like.

 

When I lived in BFE Georgia, I became the de fact computer expert FOR THE ENTIRE TOWN. I was literally helping people use facebook and shit. After the hurricane, I had to go futz with multiple UPS doodads/cable boxes/friggen routers/etc because that was basically my town job now. It wasn't until that exact moment that Matt realized I was a bit more tech savvy then he previously realized, and he commented that he really should have known better by now.

For the record, I'm an idiot, but I'm just more tech savvy than that 1 town. Man, made me feel like a fucking genius.

Miss.Peggy still calls to ask me for help with facebook (and fuss over my diet, as she's worried California isn't feeding me well enough), and damn do I help that lovely lady post more pictures of her doggo and remember to use chrome or firefox instead of internet explorer every damn time.

One thing I learned with this batch of C-SATS is that I always thought the robot arms were attached to this big elaborate and sophisticated machine. Nope. They're just regular old attachments to a handheld drill. Next time I'm in Home Depot, I'm gonna ask for that attachment with the laser beam on the end. I like lasers.
