Has anyone hear everbroken their ribs?
I broke most of mine a few years ago and recently I'm having pain in the area of my lower left rib. it is a sharp pain I can only relieve by arching my back so that my chest is full stretched out I'm having to alter how I sit.
could this be from the old injuries?

Cool. Well, I just had a meltdown while all my neigjbors listened.

We have these janky ass smoke alarms and no fucking ventilation in this house, so I can be heating up the oven or cooking something and it will go off repeatedly, despite there being no smoke or something NOT being on fire OR ANYWHERE CLOSE. I had matt take the one near the oven down, problem solved.

Well, he put it up without asking, after I very explicitly asked him not to put it back on the ceiling, and I cannot reach it. It is very loud, and went off for 10 minutes. I wasn't even cooking anything, I just turned the oven on. Have I mentioned I cannot reach it? Not even on a chair or my stool. I cannot reach the ceiling myself.

The amount of fuck this, fuck that screaming that went on while I tried to figure out how to knock the thing off the ceiling probably has my neighbors thinking I'm insane.

And after that incident, I am.

I slice them thin, put them in the dehydrator, and then top with peanut butter and carob for my doggos!

I used to love bananas, until one day 8 years ago while under the influence I ate an unripened banana (don't ask) I started throwing it up slowly and had heartburn, now every time I eat a banana I get disgust and heartburn. RIP my love for teh banana.

 

I cracked my ribs (well, they were cracked, not actually by me) and they still ache when it rains or when I'm exerting myself a lot in a sorta twisty motion.

I sit on a special ass pillow, do weird yoga stretches, and take super fun "experience less pain yo," meds, which helps but you may wanna ask your doc about it? I wouldn't presume to know what's wrong with someone else without being there!

 

I had the same problem in the last place I lived, which was a duplex. Except instead of being too short (i'm like 5' 10" so that isn't an issue for me), they were like hardwired into the ceiling and I couldn't get them out. And there were 3, all linked to each other, so if one went off then all did. I felt so bad for my neighbor. I had to just stand there fanning them with a notebook until they stopped.

Finally I made the maintenance people come fix it, and he like blew them out with compressed air, then reset them all, and it finally stopped doing that.

 

just think it's odd they just started bothering me out of the blue after 2 years. I mean they hurt back then but I was flat on my back and on some heavy ass meds then anyway
