Honestly, the amount of shit I’ve taken since I’ve taken up roller blading has beyond shocked me. I’m pretty used to people being assholes but literally getting mocked by little kids on scooters was the point where I wondered what TF is up with kids these days. There is no way on earth I would have ever felt ok mocking an adult to their face , in front of my dad, for just being outside and putting skates on.

exactly. you hear about kids fighting teachers, playing the knockout game, shit like that. that wouldn't have even dawned on me to do ever when i was a youngling. kids are out of control today. i mean when i missed a homework assignment i was shitting my pants that the teacher or my parents would be pissed lol
