I'm trying to figure out how to set up a search for PC by requestor ID...he says it can be done, but I can't figure out how to do it...

edit: worth panda'ing the big ones. as many as they dropped, someone will inevitably get a workload they cant handle and dont know how to automate

I think you add it by clicking add job.

Are you just trying to be alerted when they put stuff up or have it grab stuff? If you just want to be alerted it is a waste of page refreshes to use pandacrazy to search for requesters.

Did this yesterday, don't remember exact time but I don't believe it took more than 25 minutes.

click Add job and paste in requester id, then uncheck start collecting and save. Then click details and move the requester ID from the group id field to the requester id box. Then change from PandA to search in the boxes right above that area and save. Done.

But just FYI it doesn't really work very well unless it's something that sits out there for awhile. Basically it has to do a search for the requester then try to do a panda for the hit it finds. Takes twice as long so if it's a hot item it's generally gone by the second step.

ok that worked, but when I click "collect", it runs once then turns off? How do I keep it looking? There isn't anything up at the moment for that requester....

 

It shouldn't turn off. Make sure in the details at the top it says, "Once: False".

 

Yeah that happened to me yesterday. But as soon as I posted that they seemed to stop I caught a couple more

 

Finished mine last night. Not fun. Only good news is it's already approved and paid.
