The way this forums refresh system for paging works, is strange. sometimes it keeps refreshing, sometimes I have to click to the last page.

I understand why this sentiment makes sense at a superficial level, but its actually super untrue IMO. You just don't see/hear from people who use the auto-link properly because.. well.. their questions get answered. Most of the big Requester wikis have been viewed thousands of times as-is atm.

The very small minority of folks who don't notice/click/feel it fully explains their question satisfactorily are noticeable, but they're a pretty small portion of the people who have questions about those Reqs/topics. Anyone who remembers what MTG was actually like should be able to notice the difference, especially considering our user base is about 20x as big as that site towards the end and it was still 90% of the same repetitive basic questions haha. Even the drop off from "WTF IS A ONE ONE TWO?" has declined considerably since some nice folks stepped up and Wiki'd it. Even though it makes little to no intuitive sense to see a random term like that hot-linked lol.

Not saying its a bad idea at all, just wanted to point out the wiki actually does a pretty good job of curbing off a lot of the annoying questions.

Also I feel like a bot is a few levels of understanding higher than an auto-linked result someone can quote & point to. Calling a bot is super difficult, it requires user knowledge of the syntax language to invoke it, and it requires the bot to actually not suck balls

The nice part about the bot is it doesn't require server resources (outside what a normal user would use) & requires no admin intervention, which is why you see them on reddit where the subreddit owners/users have zero real control over the sub & definitely no way to get that kind of built-in functionality to their "site"

If anyone creates a TV bot.. you have my full blessing lol.
