I'd imagine something along the lines of beer and candy. Just beer and candy.

So less healthy than you, but tastes much better. If I'm gonna die, I'd like to take the beer and candy route.

Basically refined foods, grains, plants, fruits. Its pretty much everywhere. The thing is vegans always eat these, and if they are a vegan on a budget, you lead to the risk to heart disease.

    • An overall plant-based diet index (PDI) was created by assigning positive scores to plant foods and reverse scores to animal foods.
    • A "healthful plant-based diet index" (hPDI) was created by giving positive scores to healthy plant foods such as whole grains, fruit, vegetables, nuts, oils and tea. Both animal foods and less healthy plant foods such as juices, refined grains, fries and sweets received a negative score.
    • An "unhealthful plant-based diet" (uPDI) was created by giving positive scores to less-healthy plant foods, such as sweets, cakes, chips and crisps, and scores to animal and healthy plant-based foods.

    LOL

According to my cursory glance at the study itself, basically assuming that literally any combo of vegetarian foods counts as healthy (they list things like juice, refined grains, fries, and yes, candy, etc.). So you eat whatever you want as long as it's not meat, which is obviously not gonna work :dunno:

This really depends on food access. In my neighborhood, vegetables are easy due to four inexpensive farmers markets a week.

    Thanks for the actual answer.

It didn't occur to me any of these things were considered plant based diet lol.. I was trying to sort through lettuce/kale/nuts/celery to figure out wtf someone was eating in that category to be unhealthy.

We don't get it too often so people go crazy buying milk, bread and eggs and the roads always suck because we usually get rain first which washes away the brine and then the roads are icy plus I'm on a dead end road in the boonies so this road doesn't get cleared for awhile.
