@ChrisTurk could you package an app that basically loads the page but code push notifications for alerts? I know zero about coding apps so that may be a ridiculous thing to say lol.

Last I checked there are add-ons that enabled PUSH notifications, but they require pushbullet accounts for the users (kind of like HF), so its not really an optimal setup since it isn't integrated very well.

 

Well yes, I wouldn't be too surprised by that, but the way it was phrased he sounded like any bar he went into that was a problem. When I go to cigar bar I huff my inhaler to prep my lungs but if I was in some random bar downtown Greenville and some dude started smoking I would be shocked and then ultra pissed.

That is what I meant. There are a couple of yuppie bars that have banned smoking of their own accord but every other bar allows smoking. They've tried to pass new laws to include it on the restaurant law but so far it keeps getting shot down. Luckily we've become like the vaping capital of the world so actual cigarette smoke is a lot better than it used to be but you will def come out of any bar still smelling like stinky ass smoke.

But to give you an idea of how crazy it is here, you can't buy anything over 3 point beer or malt liquor outside of a liquor store here. And liquor stores aren't allowed to refrigerate anything or sell anything that isn't alcoholic. Finally in November we passed a bill to allow other stores to sell wine and all the liquor stores are throwing a HUGE fit over it saying that they'll go out of business.

The South is pretty cray with their booze laws. The fact I can go to Greenville and buy wine on a sunday now is a pretty big deal here and people are still heavily opposed. Still can't in my town but can't win 'em all!

I have a friend, when I wasn't working, that would pick up my tab if i went and got a table for his buddies for happy hour. Got a nice buzz and free drinks for sitting in a bar at 3pm and reading. I also played his wing-woman a few times but since I look like I'm 12 it went over kinda awkwardly when I'd try and talk to his target's friends.
