    Some responses were rejected accidently and yours might be one of them. With rejections, new responses came in and the total number now is over the set limit of 400. Therefore, we are unable to reverse the rejections. We are new to the Amazon Mechanical Turk and are contacting customer service for assistance. Thanks for your response and patience while we do our best to solve the issue.

    It's because without scripts they can't easily reverse rejections it's dumb as hell. Customer service should do it for them, though.

    Got the same email. Seems to be no help. I can eat the rejections, I just don't think, based on the rejection reason, it's too fair.

    Hormonal contraceptives can potentially influence what a person finds attractive, so I could see why if they're implying a pill or other hormonal methods.

    Otherwise, the only thing I can imagine is that they're trying to apply a rough filter of people who are sexually promiscuous vs. people who are not.

    I didn't even notice that. I stopped reading when I saw I was too old. Hopefully if people aren't using contraceptives it's because they aren't currently active.

    I intrepreted that as meaning they only want/can afford 400 answers and they already have that, so they're not going to reverse the rejections.

    Yeah but it didn't specify what type of contraceptive. I can understand people taking or not taking the pill (or shot, patch, etc) based on how they react to it. I was thinking more of condoms.
