weird I guess I didn't get the most recent update, so I just deleted and reinstalled the whole thing

Try restarting chrome with chrome://restart

 

yeah it was enabled. But I was a version behind. I had manually changed it around the same time the update was pushed. Something got weird so a fresh reinstall worked

 

those little packs of hand warmers work great shove some in your gloves and the side of your shoes/boots got me through many scouting events like klondike Derby. Dollar General and Walmart sell them
