TM pays about... I'd say 4x what PC pays for me. PC is extremely useful, but I still get more out of TM all day long.
PC is more of an indexing or reference app.

mTurk wants to provide a basic and generic site for their Requesters. Scripts and Tools are part of the culture that Requesters can take advantage of, or avoid, if they know how to work the mTurk system. Which is pretty sophisticated.

So it's totally appropriate that Amazon keeps a generic mTurk site, which, BTW, you can make good money at if you use just the mTurk search functions. You won't make as much, on HITs of the type you want to pay day after day... but you can make on it. You can make $6/hr pretty much np with it.

 

I am not going to say TM is outdated (it is actually but anyway), PC is not confusing. Give it a try one (two, three) more time. You can read the stuff or watch videos how it works. It is really user friendly.

Where is it located? I wouldn't mind playing with it, but I assume you don't mean the Kad one.

 

Not trying to be harsh or sarcastic, so please don't take it that way. But if this is what you depend on to survive, then you have a duty to yourself to do everything you can to learn about how to improve productivity. I understand (unlike some on here) that learning to script is not just the "sit down and figure it out" save all, but if you know a script is used by the majority of the people and has more functionality and will help increase earnings, taking a few minutes (or days) of figuring out how it works is vital to you. PC is confusing, and I don't mess with most of it, but even if you don't mess with any settings or anything, it's still more effective than TM (even Pre-Change) just adding a panda and letting it run.

In the time it took you to (very coherently) write that long post complaining about what should be, you could have installed PC and PC helper and figured out how to quickly add pandas.

You don't have to embrace the change. But if it really is your livelihood, you have an obligation to yourself and anyone else you support to learn as much as you can to be as efficient and effective as you can be.

 

They have launched it a couple of times. I emailed them earlier and they responded in less than a minute.

I almost missed it all together.

 

Now if only I can finish convincing @Buzby to quit her day job
