    What browser? I've had people say Vivaldi/Safari don't play nicely w/ it before.

    You can, its probably preferable to since its quicker.

    TM only checks for updates once or twice a day depending on your default settings. Or not at all if you've disabled automatic updates (which I kinda recommend if you're installing scripts from anyone you've never met face-to-face but excuse my :tinfoil:)
