I got $24 in bonuses earlier in the week, so I know he's giving them. I have no clue if they're accurate or not though.

The 30ish turkers he's got qualled are used to higher pay from him. We may take absolute garbage from other requesters and thank them for it, but knowing he's just playing games because "haha fuck you guys," all of a sudden we all have dignity.

 

Thanks for the words guys! I'm glad to hear it's not as bad as the LSAT. I was interested in law school for a little bit and did some practice tests. It blew my mind how hard it was! I'm really good at reading comprehension and tbh I liked how challenging it was. I got a 1360 on the SATs back in HS and I'm pretty confident in my test-taking abilities, so we shall see how I do on the GRE.

The GRE is not that bad.
I took the GRE, I did well. 169 Verbal, 170 Math.
I even tutor GRE.
Just learn the crazy pattern of the test. Learn when 2, 3 or 4 answers are right.
Learn that crazy vocabulary that you will rarely use.

 

I missed your earlier post. Are you trying to catch it? I just saw it on the HF logs and panda'd it. Came up in about five minutes.

 

Thankfully I was an English major and vocab is something I'm pretty skilled at. Probably gotta brush up on my math though. I'm excited! Been kinda putzing around for the last few years trying to figure out what to do (and take care of my brain at the same time) but it's been kind of inevitable that I'd go back to school because I really want to teach college-level writing classes.

 

THe "bad" part of the Verbal is the "Chinese Food" fill in the blanks. You gotta get all 3, or the whole question is wrong.
OH! And when you do your essay, try to find a way to get cacophony, jejune and mendacity in the essay. That makes the ETS pee their pants in joy.

Uhh, you realize if you're making $100/hr at $5/ea, he's still making $500/hr for sitting on his ass not even validating these things anymore and just letting them rot til AA right? No? Of course not.
