Had a similar experience just a couple days ago when I tried adding a new bank account to payments. It was giving me an error in which I called Amazon. They informed me I had to fax my ID which I did. I received an e-mail the next day stating my account was in good standing. So I went to add card again and same error. I called back Amazon and they informed me that I needed to fax over a bank statement showing my account numbers, name, address, and e-mail. I took a screen shot of required information and faxed via hellofax.com (as recommended) and the next day my account is now in the clear.


Edit: When I used hellofax.com I added a cover page and included my e-mail in subject line and body as they told me to do.

 

Careful doing these .40 Check if the webpage exists Pins, windows defender caught some malware right as I visited one of the websites.

 

As if those pins where not bad enough...

 

Thanks just going to hold off on transferring to bank till Monday at midnight so that I include the money I make over the weekend.

 

@Randomacts, just had the toolbar disappear from Inquisit and didn't have to reboot, thanks to you!

 

These Pins aren't bad, just kind of mind-numbing.

Yeah the requested his id, which we faxed today. Then he received another email just like the first one stating they couldn't verify his account. They didn't ask for anymore information. When he called they wouldn't even speak with him. Not sure what to do at this point...if there is a problem with the id we sent someone needs to tell us
