We watched the Joy of Painting on Netflix the other night and my 6yo said it was borning and stupid. We looked at him like this


We tuned him out and enjoyed it.

 

You guys ever get the urge to break things, but not in an angry way?
Like you just get so excited that you want to break something?
Or is that just me?

Yes, normally it's whatever lego set I just spent an hour building with my son.

 

I get strange urges to throw stuff out of my car window while I'm driving. Like my cell phone or shit that I really like and shouldn't throw out my window. I don't do it though, but the urge is there.

 

whoever posted that picture of scrambled eggs inspired me go make some. my flu-ridden stomach was 100% not ready for that.

Being a DI is as much an act as soft-spoken painterman. He was just Senior Enlisted anyway, like E-9. If you are shouting and angry at E-9 level, you're doing it wrong. I think he was trying to illustrate it for civilians. Master Sergeants generally don't do screaming, especially as Medical Records Technicians in the Chair Farce, looking out the window at snowy mountains that later become the center of your work.

He was like 3 levels above anybody that might do any screaming about being late for work. The guy shuffled papers and hung out at the Segeant's Club and dined with officers as First Sergeant.

Cuteness aggression is so real. If I hug my daughter too long I get the urge to either squeeze her until she breaks, or bite her.
