    There's a lot of array methods that NodeLists don't have -- filter, map, etc.

    But in the latest versions of modern browsers, they have forEach:

    I just don't bother with stuff that's backwards compatible for older browsers for the same reason I don't use aria tags for blind users: I write my scripts primarily for myself. If someone wants to use a script I wrote, I recommend upgrading to new browsers, getting Lasik surgery, etc.

    In fact, someone asked me the other day to make a personal edit of one of my more popular scripts:

    I'll let people use stuff that I make from time to time, but I'm unlikely to teach people how to use it, and I sure as hell am not going to modify a script to meet one person's needs for free.
