It IS getting patched. The problem is the M$ is dumb and likely will apply the patch to all CPUs.

On linux you can compile your own kernel to disable the patch with a flag... but... most likely on windows it will fuck everyone.

It won't be much help if M$ applies the patch to every CPU including AMD instead of just intel ones.

I use my linux partition on there a lot anyway, so guess I'll just suffer the patch on my work laptop (i7). Will be interesting to see the real benchmarks for myself after the patch. RIP to those who just finished builds and dropped all that cash on Intel CPUs. At least mine is due for an upgrade lol.
