I know you struggle with a few things, but seeing you do so well on turk definitely shows how hard you persevere and how much ambition you have. It's always cool to see, and it's that type of stuff that kicks my ass into gear when my brain is all screwy (similar inspiration is what kicked my ass into gear this week... and rent being due, lol).

 

yeah I know, I was just saving people the click if they'd already done it.

 

this is becoming very common lately I've chewed quite a few requestors out about this. nothing like 30 or more minutes into what you thought was going to be a good paying survey and inquisit pops up. Unfortunately, I didn't pull this survey from this thread so I missed all the warnings.

Wtf no way would I forget doing/seeing this survey

 

I feel like saying, "Now I have seen everything." Yet that is not the weirdest survey I've had, and I am sure mturk has more weirdness to come

 

I returned the hit, saw the link in the preview page, grabbed in, and the survey checked at the beginning and said I was fine to take it. So I took it anyway, messaged the guy and said "if you'd like to set up a compensation hit great, if you'd like to remove my data, so be it". It was super fast and weirdly entertaining so I don't care if I get paid my 0.35 or not. I'll let you know if I get a response. I think something wonky is going on on his end, because I checked my DB and I haven't ever taken anything by him. We'll see.

And with that, (and $6.11 in the bank), I'm headed back to bed for a bit. catch you all later, save some money for me!

 

My favorite oddball survey over the years is one that was just one question, no demographics or anything, simply asking "How badly do you have to urinate right now?" I don't think I want to know what that was about.
