01/07 - Sublime Sunday!

Chess?

I'd get caught up trying to make a great chess AI, burn out after months of trying to perfect it, and ultimately become discouraged when it ends up being beaten by Google's cutting-edge neural network.

But if I ever get serious about programming neural networks, I'll keep that one on the backburner as a practice challenge.

All I want to do here is fulfill the requirements and get my certification.
I'm only one project away (a "bop it" game), but I'm burnt out right now and will probably wrap up on the next slow day.

 

I wish I knew how to disable the changelog for MTS always popping up

I'm basically just filling downtime by wrapping up loose ends (partially-finished lessons, partially-finished certifications, etc.), because I don't have a project I'm excited to work on at the moment.

I considered adding a half-second time limit to the Tic Tac Toe game, but by then there was interesting stuff going on in the playoff game, and I was happy to just submit the project having already hit all of the requirements.

Are practicing for CS 2? I think that's when I had to make that game. Might have been CS 1. I know in my fourth programming class we had to do Battleship, but they gave us a pretty cool GUI, so we didn't have to waste time making one.
