    Yeah, I hate when a hit tells me to return it because I've already completed that hit for that requester... and I have never seen that requester nor done a hit by that name (or description).

    PHP / Python / Perl / etc. would only really come into play if you were building a website-based tool like Hit Notifier, TurkerView, TurkOpticon, etc.
    And even for those, you could stick with Javascript and write a server with Node.
    Hopefully that helps with your language overwhelm.
