    You have a vested interest in the site not dying off but there's no question whatsoever that the after-Xmas pickup is not proceeding as it usually does. Things are slow. Very slow.

    And, anyone figured out how many HITs are available? That info is gone.

    Agreed, I feel like searching for a hit is gasping for air in that scene on total recall when they blow up the inside of the building and the windows break and people are suffocating.

    Doesn't everyone who works on mturk have a "vested interest" in it not being shit? No, just me? Neat! Y'all get off my HITs.

    Doesn't have anything to do with why I think people murmuring that changes which the Requesters can't see would drive them off the platform is funny.. but ok.

    Nope, can't see total number available. But IME that number's singularly useless unless you really wanna track how many ScoutIts etc. are up. People have slow days when it hit 900,000+ and awesome days when it's at 150,000. :dunno:

    Fair enough, that's true, but there IS a general idea of 'health' of the system and I've noticed a positive correlation. What you said is true, but a positive correlation is 'More True' IMO.

    And either way, we don't know now at all so that fuels conjecture? Sure it does.
