They give out variations of the "plant superstar" qual periodically I think. For this batch you just needed the basic qual but the hits were $0.30 and took a little longer than usual but worth it, worked out to be around $11 an hour for me!

Does MTurk hits kind stink lately or is it just cause I tend to work evenings/later afternoons?

 

You needed the superstar qual i'm pretty sure. I'd jump on .30 if I could. They're usually like .08 or something for non-superstars I think. Good on ya though! That's a nice haul for those.

 

I went the gym.....and I didn't die! And even better, I did the elliptical 20 minutes longer than I planned! According to the machine (which I take with a very large grain of salt) I burned 508 calories!

But seriously, I didn't faint so I'm super stoked. I was really concerned I was going to faint.

Yeah, you did need the superstar qual. I have the regular qual and couldn't work the 0.30 ones.

After looking through my OW history... The only Jeffrey Du HITs that popped up were the superstar qualled ones it seems... You sure you're not a Superstar? lol

 

You should be proud of yourself! And remember it is only going to get easier if you stick with it!

Du has 3 different quals
Plant superstar and Spray superstar he puts out quals for
These had the "weed and spray superstar" qual which is given out based on performance in those hits

The qualifiers for this are from regular plant fun hits. Usually only workers who regularly take the time to find every last weed in the images and are not speeding thru the hits will be granted this qualification. Needless to say there are not very many workers with this qual. While the majority of our images can be done quickly, in some fields like today's batch we require workers with a keener eye and a proven track record of slowing down when the image warrants it.

....the 5's are reloading at the same speed I'm doing them. I keep seeing "Hits available: 55" and I keep saying, "I work the batch till it's dead".....but it never dies!

 

Yes, I pull the current, fix any format issues (only rarely a few) and then update myself. Still want to keep up on the actual video run times so people working from queue can complete as many as possible before having to let them drop or return.
