nice, I do need to start working more whole grains and whatnot in. They say oatmeal has some magical type diabetes fighting stuff in it. And I LOVE how they have a sample size so I'm not committing to some giant amount of stuff when I'm not sure if I'll like it cuz I'm super picky!

 

I normally don't rate the qual HITs but their qual HITs are great! You can tell they care about the community when even their qualifications are worth the pay on their own.

Yeah, to me that's one of those super small gestures that means a lot more than its financial impact. They could easily leave them at 3c/ea or whatever and no one would care or probably even notice. And I suspect that over a huge # of qual HITs tripling the price isn't "nothing" to their budget.

But really, almost all of my swarms have averaged a bit over min-wage in the last month or two. And they do require my attention more than they used to but its still more interesting than some survey & they are guaranteed income for a significant portion of time, which on mTurk is actually incredibly rare so again the value is there beyond the base financial impact of the work.

The swarms have been a prime example of increasing pay without affecting your budget since for the most part its just been a result of them running the things better & better. I don't think they've changed the estimated base payout (could be wrong, actually damn I am they have increased the estimated time : pay ratio judging by some of the TV reviews!) ++ the splitting survey for pay in some HITs which were well paid as well. Idk, I appreciate it all.

At some point, you're just gonna have to suffer and "feel hungry" without eating anything in response.
A calorie deficit will feel like a calorie deficit, and you have to be able to handle that uncomfortable feeling.

Some people are also bad at telling the difference between hunger and an appetite,
because they rarely deny the urges of their appetite long enough to remember what real hunger feels like.
