    I haven't done any work on Upwork yet.

    I just signed up like 3-5 days ago (the last few days have been a blur, so not sure on the exact number) and set up my profile, portfolio, etc. But beyond that, I've had stuff on my plate and haven't actually taken the time to really search for work on there or evaluate the platform for programming projects.

    What gave me the idea was that I accidentally stumbled across a strange web development course for entreprenuers that "didn't actually teach people how to program, but taught them how to find a developer." That absurd course piqued my curiosity, and in skimming the course contents, I found a whole chapter on using Upwork to find a developer. I figured, "hell, I guess I'll sign up here and see whether or not this is actually a thing".
