I hardly follow popular scripts like PC, so don't take this as anything but complete & utter confusion, but I have no clue what you're talking about lol.

web+panda replaces the http in a URL? If so, why wouldn't you just go w/ panda:// - simplicity is king and having weird characters in the starter URL formation feels super unnatural.

What happens to this thing when you disappear? Get pissed off and rewrite your script to unregister the protocol handler for anyone using your tools? We're stuck hoping our scripts execute in an order that re-registers it (if this is even possible silently, does it require user prompting?) or having to track people down to get them to uninstall all your stuff?

You've literally built your entire persona on being the most disagreeable, "fuck the popo" maverick, "I'm only here until I get bored" character as you can be - the thought of building systems around you feels like playing Russian Roulette with 5 bullets in a 6 shooter.

 

I've been on a sci-fi kick too so it looks great to me. I still need to finish the first Blade Runner(I've watched the first half twice) and then I am hoping the second is rentable soon on google play movies since they have $0.99 rentals right now and I have google play rewards credits.

The web+ part is out of my hands.
That's the prefix required for a new protocol that can be handled by a webpage.

 

That guy is also super duper hot.

I'm not saying that's why I watched the trailer, but it is.

There's a new showrunner for the Walking Dead! Maybe season 9 might not be as bad as it has been recently.

It's interesting that the Walking Dead started out amazing and has gotten worse over time, while Fear the Walking Dead has done the exact opposite and has turned into the better show by far.

 

It's just a protocol. That's what I'm getting at. Any catcher can register to handle the protocol - it doesn't have to be mine. It could be Hit Catcher, it could be Panda Crazy. Hell, it could be Turkmaster.

All I'm trying to do is see whether there's any interest in developing for a common protocol, and if there is, see whether there's any consensus we can all come to on the name/format of the flags so that the protocol behaves consistently regardless of the catcher that the user decides to use the protocol with.

 

I think it's the final cut? It's such a good movie but it is a bit slow which is why I've had trouble finishing it.

Also I do the surveys when they pop up. I don't get a ton though. I usually use it to buy full priced games when they are on sale and then never play them Like when I bought This War of Mine, Death Road to Canada, and Don't Starve for a buck each but haven't played them.

 

i.e., ?once=true should behave "as expected" whether Panda Crazy, Hit Catcher, Turkmaster, or some other tool is handling the URL.

 

I guess today has been pretty slow, I may just set up my surface on my desk and watch it while I work today.

 

@ChrisTurk Or possibly simplified:

Let's all agree on some important HIT metadata and catcher flags, and come to a consensus on how they should be expressed in a URL.

Then, after that, let's see whether each of us can implement this standard in our own catcher tools.
